Hospice of the Golden Isles provides supportive in-home care to terminally-ill patients. The hospice team cares for the patient wherever they call home as long as it is in the five county areas of Glynn, McIntosh, Camden, Charlton, and Brantley. The team consists of a Registered Nurse, a Certified Nursing Assistant, a Social Worker, a Chaplain and Volunteers.

The Registered Nurse provides education to the family about the specialized care of their loved one, including pain and symptom management. Hospice Certified Nursing Assistants support the patient and family with personal care and the activities of daily living. Our Social Workers offer emotional support or counseling, assistance with advance directive or financial concerns and community referrals as indicated. Hospice Chaplains offer spiritual support for patients and families regardless of faith traditions or belief systems. The Hospice of the Golden Isles volunteers provides additional support and relief to caregivers. The patient and family needs and requests guide staff frequency of visits and support. Hospices of the Golden Isles home care services are available to home patients, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
